World Food Day 2018

October 16

The world’s poorest are being hit hardest by climate change. If we strengthen the resilience of smallholder farmers, we can guarantee food security for the planet’s growing global population and also reduce emissions.

Mayors from over 100 cities across the world, that have committed to the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact, will meet at FAO on 14 October during the official celebration of World Food Day in Rome.

Our climate is changing. And we want you to tell us why food and agriculture must too. There are two ways you can do this. Design a poster or produce a video on the World Food Day theme.
